Tribute to Susan Smith

Sue took me in to her family as one of her own after being in a car crash with Sarah. I never felt that I needed to be anything other than myself in Sue's company and I never felt like she was being anyone but herself. I shared a lot of laughs with her over the years and we became great friends. I even took my wife to meet sue for her approval and thankfully ........she approved ("marry that one" she told me "she's the one for you".........15 years later and she wasn't wrong!!!). as is common, in these later years we didn't talk as much but she was always in my thoughts and I always had a little giggle when I thought of her. I will miss your laugh and the way you would always listen to my stupid tales of silly things I have gotten up to "why do you always find the nutters" you would say......."just lucky" I would reply!! until we meet again, I will remember you every day!!! love you xx

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are. Speak to me in the easy way which you always used. Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
